Freddie's Scarf World Record

67 metre scarf to raise funds for the MPT in Montreux, Switzlerland on September 8th. Marijke from the Netherlands is aiming to break a Guinness World Record for the longest scarf on September 8th in the presence of Peter Freestone, Freddie’s friend and assistant and author of the “Ask Phoebe” blog on www.freddiemercury.com.

Freddie Mercury would have been 67 years old this September, so to celebrate his birthday and to raise funds for the Mercury Phoenix Trust, Marijke is aiming to make a 67 metre yellow scarf covered in crystals spelling out the names of people who each donate 3 euros.
