Eh, cool! Endlich mal ein Lebenszeichen! Dr. May, weißt Du (oder sonstwer), was der Anlass war? Hochzeit ist schon klar. Aber ist Deacy der glückliche Brautvater???

Hochzeit und Ehe - da fällt mir spontan ein passender Song von Jonny-Boy ein, der sicher auf der Feier nicht fehlen durfte: Another One Bites the Dust...

The former bandmates of Queen legend Freddie Mercury will be invited to the grand unveiling of a memorial to the star in Feltham town centre.

Fans of the group were getting excited this week as word spread that guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and bassist John Deacon could visit the town, where the flamboyant singer lived for nearly 10 years

Aktuelles Interview auf Brian's Website mit einer seltenen Frage und einer bemerkenswerten Antwort:

Do you still see [Queen bassist] John Deacon?

No. He prefers to keep his life separate and that’s his choice. He’s a very private person. When Freddie passed away it produced a change in all of us… I think the last time I saw him was at the Party At The Palace [the other Queen’s Golden Jubilee in 2002].

Das wundert mich, das man sich nach so einer genialen, gemeinsamen Karriere nicht mal mehr zu Geburtstagen, etc., sieht. Da muß es wohl damals doch doller gekracht habe als wir es erahnen.
