Eric Clapton To Perform At Charity Concert At Wintershall Estate

[UPDATED] On Saturday 4 June 2011, Eric Clapton will take part in a charity concert at Wintershall Estate, Bramley, Surrey. Gates to the estate will open at 4PM and music will begin at 6PM, concluding with fireworks at midnight. Those attending are invited to bring picnics to enjoy by the lakeside. Other musicians taking part this year are Jeff Beck, Roger Taylor, Gary Brooker, Lulu, Paul Carrack, Georgie Fame, and Daniele de Niesse. More guest stars will be announced as the event date nears.

Since 1989, Eric has donated his time to appear at several charity events at Wintershall Estate, performing with the all-star "Band du Lac". The 2005 concert is available on DVD as "Band du Lac: One Night Only Live" and featured EC, Ringo Starr, Gary Brooker and others.
