THE QUEEN-SUCCESS continues at Folketeateret!
Three extra weeks with We Will Rock You.

The original Queen-musical We Will Rock You has achieved great success at Folketeateret in Oslo. The producer 2Entertain has therefore decided that they extend the show for three weeks from 26. March until 16. April, and thus let all who want to get the chance to see the tremendous cast rock at Oslo’s biggest stage. First came one extra show day every week in March, and now eleven more during three weeks! WWRY plays on Wednesday, thuesday, Friday and Saturday. This good news for every Queen fan falls parallel to the band's kick off for the "40th anniversary year" having started with the opening of the exhibition "Stormtroopers on Stilettos" last Friday in London's East End.

Full houses
Never before have I seen  a musical in such a big venue that plays for almost full houses every time, says salesmanager JK from 2enetertain.   He is very well pleased that over 35 000 has seen the Queen musical so far and over 50 000 tickets has been already sold.

Rock’n roll mood
The audience is quite fantastic, they give the actors, dancers and musicans on stage standing ovations at every performance.
-I have never experienced such a good mood in the theatre, and that combined with singing the coolest music in the world, is really a dream! Says  Espen Grjotheim, who plays the male lead Galileo – We’re having so much fun on stage that everybody deliver a 100% at every show, he continues. -We simply sing straight from the heart, and maybe that is a part of the sucsess?, says Grjotheim.

-WWRY is not just a title, it is a promise, says storywriter Ben Elton, the british comedian, who has written for such TV-series as The Yuong ones, Mr Bean, and Black Adder.
- Brian May: The WWRY show in Oslo is something we take a great pride in. It’s something which keeps us in contact with a new generation, people of all ages come to see WWRY, even people who weren’t alive when Freddie went. It’s amazing. And we see them all up at the end, they’re all singing, they’re all dancing and chanting and having a great time. So everybody make haste! Come and enjoy WWRY in Oslo for some more weeks only. Come and rock!

But alas, 16 April is the last day Oslo rocks! No further prolonging possible!
